In summer 2018, by opening the first line of standard maltodextrin MultyDex® DE18-20 production in the countries of the former USSR, Starch Plant Gulkevichsky is actively developing a range of maltodextrins and dry glucose syrups in order to provide consumers with high-quality products made in Russia.

On December 24, the company produced the first lots of an innovative product on the Russia market  – maltodextrin with a dextrose equivalent of 10-12, under the trademarks MultyDex® Sun 12 and MultyDex® Sun 12 AG, and launched its in industrial scale production.

MultyDex® Sun 12 and MultyDex® Sun 12 AG maltodextrins are natural derivatives of corn starch which is highly purified, demineralized white taste- and scent-free powder completely soluble in water, forming of clear solution. A distinctive feature of the agglomerated MultyDex® SUN 12 AG is instantaneous dissolution in water and the formation of high-quality carbohydrate-fat emulsions.

MultyDex® Sun 12 and MultyDex® Sun 12 AG maltodextrins are widely used in the production of ice cream, dairy and other food products to provide the best and specific organoleptic properties, texture control, adjustment of solids, reduction of energy value, prevention of crystallization and many other purposes.

In terms of its technological characteristics, MultyDex® Sun 12 and MultyDex® Sun 12 AG are not inferior, but even superior to foreign analogues.

MultyDex® Sun 12 and MultyDex® Sun 12 AG are recommended for use in the production of various food products (confectionery, meat products, protein and fat emulsions, beverages, instant foods, etc.), including baby foods, and also used in the production of cosmetics and medicines.
